Founded in 1974 by Leon Slikkers, S2 Yachts is one of the few privately held production boat-building companies in the world. Throughout our storied history of hand-building boats, we have remained based in beautiful Holland, Michigan. From the beginning, Leon instilled excellence into our culture. Craftsmanship is paramount, we build and sell only the highest quality boats, and take great pride in manufacturing an American Made product. This allows us to offer the highest level of craftsmanship, greatest control over quality and creates a source of pride for our customers that their boat was handmade in the U.S.A., and legitimately of the greatest quality in the world. We set ourselves apart by pursuing the ultimate goal of perfection, both in the products we make and in the entire conduct of our business.
Family owned and operated since day one, S2 Yachts leverages this aspect of our business to direct and build the values used to conduct business. Currently, three generations of Slikkers’ family help guide the organization while our larger network of employees, dealers and vendors are each part of our greater business ‘family’ unit.
